Two startups supported by the Athens Startup Incubator-THEA of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry's acceleration program, within the framework of the Project Gazelle project, were selected to be presented as best practice from Europe at an online event under the auspices of the European Women's Network of Eurochambers and in collaboration with the Unioncamere Women 2027 initiative.

The aim of the event was to provide women entrepreneurs with the opportunity to discuss and find possible solutions to common problems. The discussion took into account the impact of the crisis on the business community from the war between Russia and Ukraine and raised the question of what entrepreneurs can do in the current situation.

The event was structured into 4 thematic sections focusing on the need for women-owned businesses to adapt to a rapidly changing environment: economic transition, digital transition, green transition and social transition.

For each one and a half hour thematic section, 2 best practices of female entrepreneurs were presented, who presented the challenges they face and what methods they have undertaken to address them.

The conference began with a welcome address by Martha Schultz, President of the Eurochambers Women's Network and Martina Dlabajova, Member of the European Parliament and Co-Founder of SME Intergroup, while the closing was held by Sanja Popovic Pantic, President of Women's Entrepreneurship from the European Enterprise Network and Dana Adriana Puia Morel, Policy Officer, SME Policy coordination, DG GROW of the European Commission.

The two best practices selected from Europe to be presented in the Digital Transition thematic section were Omgyno and Projectparenting. In particular, Omgyno is a start-up innovative business addressed by women to women and offers telemedicine services with gynecologists, home tests for gynecological examinations, as well as products for sexual health. While, Project Parenting (projectparenting.gr) is the 1st holistic e-learning Subscription Platform for Parents in Greece. It is a great honor and recognition of the important work of the THEA Incubator and the Project Gazelle acceleration program of the A.C.C.I., where in collaboration with the EEDEGE, after inviting and evaluating female start-ups, they train them in entrepreneurship.

Ms. Sofia Kounenaki-Efraimoglou, President of EEDEGE and First Vice President of EVEA, stated: "In today's era, the digital transition is more important than ever. We feel proud that our female start-ups are showing the way for the new digital era in Europe."
