The 4th webinar , entitled “ From Research to Market ”, aims to highlight successful examples of Technology Transfer in Greek Universities and Research Centers, as well as the policies followed at the level of both the relevant ministries and university and research institutions.
The webinar consists of three distinct, but complementary sections, with the first dedicated to Research Centers, the second to University Institutions and the third to Equifund 's Innovation Window Funds and their support to Technology Transfer over the last 3.5 years.
The initiatives at the level of Research Centers will be presented by Mr. Christos Dimas, Deputy Minister of Research and Technology, Mr. George Nounesis, Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of NCSR Demokritos and Mr. Nektarios Tavernarakis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Technology and Research, while the successful examples of the companies Advent Technologies , Nanoplasmas , Cyrus and BIOPIX – T will be discussed .
Correspondingly, initiatives at the level of University Institutions will be mentioned by Mr. Angelos Syrigos, Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Mr. Dimitris Bourantonis, Rector of the Athens University of Economics and Business, Mr. Andreas Boudouvis, Rector of the National Technical University of Athens and Mr. Nikos Papaioannou, Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Also, the examples of the companies FoodOxys , Plin Nanotechnology , Kinems , Navenio and iCOMAT will be presented .
Finally, in the third part of the event, which will be coordinated by Ms. Marina Hatsopoulou, Messrs. George Giakoumakis ( European Investment Fund ), Aristos Doxiadis ( BigPi ), George Karantonis ( Metavallon ), Dimitris Kalavros-Gousiou ( Velocity . Partners ) and Konstantinos Lafkas ( Uni . Fund ), Partners of the Funds of the Innovation Window of EquiFund , will address the topic.
