In October , startups that will hurry to submit the relevant application form will have the opportunity to claim one of the fifty places in the Athens Startup Incubator – THEA , in order to turn their innovative idea into a business. The first round of applications closed on September 30, with more than 100 candidate business groups submitting an application form. Due to increased interest , THEA will remain open every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout October until 21:00 , where anyone can visit the facilities, meet the support team and learn about its services and actions. There will also be the opportunity to complete the application form on site, to support anyone who needs help. On the remaining days (Monday, Thursday and Friday) it is open until 17:00.
It is recalled that the THEA entrepreneurship incubator will host a total of 50 startups , until December 31, 2015, following the submission of a relevant application and evaluation of the proposal. The project is part of the NSRF-funded development program " Project Athens", implemented by the Municipality of Athens and the Athens Development and Tourism Promotion Company .
THEA will provide the following services to the businesses that will be hosted:
1.Hospitality of business groups with provision of secretarial and administrative support.
2. Specialized consulting services (market analysis, legal and accounting issues, business plan development, human resources issues)
3. Specialized education/training services
4. Networking activities to support business groups
5.Coordination and evaluation of the progress of business groups
